Your First Visit to Our Mt. Laurel Practice

You will be warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. Help is on its way!

New patients often remark how “homey” our office is. That’s good, because our goal is to offer state-of-the-art chiropractic care in a comfortable surrounding.

Make Yourself at Home

On your visit to the clinic you will be greeted at the front desk with a smile. You will have the customary paperwork to fill out (if you haven't done so already).

You will then see Dr. Scheets who will perform a comprehensive history and physical examination. In some cases diagnostic testing like x-rays or MRI's will be prescribed but only if necessary.

Treatment is usually administered the first day. Your first treatment may include one or several modalities that will aid in your chiropractic adjustment. They can include moist heat or cold pack therapy, electric muscle stimulation, mechanical traction, therapeutic stretching and strengthening exercises therapeutic ultrasound and more.

Many patients are also instructed on home care considerations from simple postural changes including pillows and supports to a comprehensive home exercise program. You will feel at ease and welcomed in our clinic. Dr. Scheets and staff will listen to your concerns and tailor a treatment plan that suits your individual needs. Your first visit can last up to one hour depending on the complexity of your needs.

We Explain Everything First

The purpose of your consultation with the doctor is to discuss your health goals and see if chiropractic is likely to help you. If it looks promising, a thorough examination will help identify the cause of your problem.

Patients appreciate that we explain everything in advance!

Dr. Phil Asks some important questions of interest to Mt. Laurel residents - Chiropractor Mt. Laurel Dr. Phil Asks...

What's your plan to deal with drug-resistant 'super germs'?
Chiropractors have always been concerned with the indiscriminate use of antibiotics, accelerating the mutation of microbes that make "wonder" drugs increasingly ineffective. My strategy? Do everything possible to bolster my immune system through proper diet, rest, exercise, clean air, pure water and an optimally functioning nervous system with regular chiropractic care.
Can a chiropractor heal?
There's never been a case in which a doctor (chiropractor or otherwise) has formed scar tissue, mended a broken bone or cured a headache. Only you can do that. Turns out you're the doctor! All I do is help remove interferences to your body's healing ability. Ready to get started? Call our office today.
